Research Project:
I facilitate a variety of human genetics projects using approaches such as SNP genotyping, genome-wide linkage and association, copy number analyses, gene expression, and whole-genome and exome sequencing to study the genetics of autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and related endophenotypes. Current projects include the etiology of ASD in African-American families (ACE Network; PI Dan Geschwind); developmental trajectories in infants at high risk for ASD (UCLA Center for Autism Research and Treatment); and brain biomarkers in females with ASD (ACE Network; PI Kevin Pelphrey).
