Research Project:
Integrative Genomics of Autism Spectrum Disorders: My research focuses on integrating diverse functional genomics datasets from post-mortem brains of autistic subjects. We've generated molecular profiles of gene expression (both mRNA and miRNA), DNA methylation, histone acetylation (H3K27ac) and genetic variation (whole genome sequencing). I'm working to identify convergent molecular signatures within each dataset and start piecing together a causal chain of gene dysregulation in ASD.
